Hello! I’m Julie. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and therapist with a passion for helping those struggling with depression, anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), mood disorders, and substance use. I enjoy working with individuals from all walks of life (14+). No matter who you are or where you’ve been, you are welcome and safe with me. I am an ally to people of color (POC), as well as to those in the LBTQIA+ community.
If you’ve stumbled upon my page, it’s likely that you, and/or a loved one, are facing some challenges right now. Are you dealing with old ghosts? School or job-related stress? Low self-esteem or relationship issues? The stress of physical health conditions or mental health concerns? Maybe you’re not even sure why you’re feeling the way you are. That’s okay, too. Whatever it may be, please know that you don’t have to face those challenges alone. I will walk alongside you through your journey as I help identify the root of the issue and use a variety of evidence-based approaches (Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Zero Suicide Protocols, Trauma Informed Care, etc.) as we work together on your goals at your pace to address it.
While working with me, you will experience a warm and compassionate approach balanced with challenges that encourage growth…and of course, some humor sprinkled in there, too. If you are ready to begin the counseling process for you or your loved one, such as your child, or still have some questions before getting started, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me. I look forward to speaking with you sometime soon. Until then, just know, you’ve got this!
